The Aviator

Is it a bird, is it a plane or is it Supermartin? It’s a pretty good film, entertaining enough because of the first-class photography and production values. Leonardo DiCaprio is excellent; the rest of the excellent actors are embarassing as they caricature their way through a numb script. Once again, Scorsese, who would be a master evidently will never learn how to tell a story. And this is a story-less, undramatic film.
