Our first two productions, “Jake and Jenny” and “Pairing Energy,” are scheduled for the weekend of February 16-18 at the Thoroughbred Theatre in Midway, KY. We have an audition date reserved for the evening of Thursday, January 4 at the same location. Times for the audition are between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and will consist of a cold reading from the script.
Both scripts are romantic comedies. Length is in-between 25-30 pages.
The following roles are available:
JAKE AND JENNY
Jake: (M, 18-30) is Jenny’s fiancée. He is caring and supportive.
Jenny: (F, 18-30) is Jake’s fiancée. She battles insomnia and is a constant worrier.
PAIRING ENERGY
Paul: (M, 18-30) Paul is a gifted, yet disturbed scientist who has just turned 30.
Constance: (F, 18-30) Constance is Paul’s former fiancée. In the script she is described as an “interactive hallucination”.
Nate: (M, 18-30) Nate is Paul’s cousin. He is a successful screenwriter.
Steph: (F, 18-30) Steph is Paul’s lab assistant. She is described as being in her late twenties.
