Will Holman stars as Boom-Boom in LEGENDS!

WILL HOLMAN is starring as the entertaining stripper Boom-Boom in the touring comedy LEGENDS! – Now playing at The Wharton Center, 1 Wharton Center, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI starting Tuesday, Nov. 14th through Sunday Nov. 19, 2006 and continuing to other cities before its Broadway debut.

Will is thrilled to be performing along with TV's "Dynasty" stars Joan Collins and Linda Evans as they take on the roles originally played on the road by Carol Channing and the late Mary Martin. Collins plays the fading moving star Sylvia with Evans as Leatrice.

Legends! centers on two somewhat desperate and waning movie stars Sylvia (Collins) and Leatrice (Evans) who are both courted by an unscrupulous young producer to star together in a Broadway show, despite the fact that they have hated each other for decades. He convinces both ladies to go along by misleading them into believing that they will be starring in the show with Paul Newman.

Will plays the sexy dynamic stripper Boom-Boom Johnson who is called to deliver a "Happy Wedding" telegram at a fancy upscale apartment on Sutton Place. When he arrives he finds Sylvia, Leatrice and a maid but despite the small audience he excites and entertains the ladies until a hilarious fight breaks out.

Chicago native Will Holman was born Jabulani Holman until after much teasing in school over his name, he convinced his parents to change it to Willie J. Holman. Will was raised in the South Shore neighborhood along with his sister Rachina, who helped inspire his competitive spirit and foster his love for performing as they studied tap, jazz and singing together.

Will inherited his athleticism from his father Willie Holman who played defensive end for the Chicago Bears. He received an athletic scholarship to Florida A & M University where he studied engineering tech. He moved to Los Angeles and worked in the feature film "Lying for a Living" with Marlon Brando and has been working non-stop in commercials, films and stage.
