Shauna Goodgold will be featured as the fresh faced voice in Scott Alan's Monday Nights, New Voices. This musical series, produced by composer Scott Alan, showcases some of "Today's Brightest New Voices in New York" (Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which played a ten-week, sold-out run at the Complex Theater in Los Angeles.) Shauna will be singing the songs of the award winning contemporary duo Lowdermilk and Kerrigan (Henry and Mudge) and adding her own musical flair.
Shauna has lent her voice to several recordings and productions and has hit the stages of such well-known clubs as Don't Tell Mama and Swing 46. She has sung lead and background vocals in such productions as Austin's Bridge by Broadway director/writer Bill C. Davis, Music Theatre International's Broadway Junior Collection (MTI) CD recording of Once on This Island, HBO, Scholastic, Rooms to Go Kids, Starbuck and Co. with Broadway performer and Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker (www.rebeccaluker.com) and Danny Bur Shauna is currently assisting well-known musical conductor Keith Levenson (Open Labs - Keith Levenson) and will be perform this summer at The Spirit of Broadway Theatre in the American Premiere of British musical Tomorrow Morning. Her New York credits include The Last Starfighter at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Off-Broadway's Christmas Rappings (Judson Theatre), Opa! (Snapple Theatre), Minnie Fay in Hello Dolly! (Hangar Theatre), Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (Cider Mill Playhouse) and Cha Cha in Grease! (Hoerner Theatre). She can also be seen in the hilarious mockumentary The Battery's Down with Jonathan Groff and Jen Cody. And she's only just begun....
