Lorena feijoo is simply the greatest ballerina around and her extreme decency as a person coupled with her superior cuban training is unmatched on the world stage...well, ok, her sister lorna feijoo is on the same level. I guess that is why they are the only dynasty in ballet history. This comes around only once in a lifetime! The review is wonderful, insightful, truthful, and most of all, honest!

My oh my, how Renate Stendhal took the words right out of my mouth. This article is a tribute to Ms. Feijoo and she has done a justice with this article. I have seen Lorena in this Swan Lake and I couldn't agree more. I have always admired Lorena Feijoo for her own creative and strong sense of the art of dancing. You can feel the love of dance in her body with her expression, strength and the intensity of fire in her eyes. If folks have not seen Lorena dance, they are missing out on something wonderful.

I'm so glad for this article. Ms. Feijoo's performance almost went unnoticed. This article records that extraordinary performance. Arguably the best Swan Lake at this time. Her artistry is unmatched. It was like watching a performance from many years back when artistry really counted (a la Alonso, Ulanova, Markova) but with 21st century technique. Congratulations to Scene 4!

Best article I have ever read on a ballet review. The author although extremly knowlegable was not trying to impress the reader. Lorena Feijoo is the shinning star of SF. Kudos to your magazine for covering this performance even though Helgi Tomasson did not see it fit to give her opening night. Nothing against Ms La Blanc but she is no Lorena Feijoo - at least in Swan Lake.

I am so proud to know Lorena Feijoo. To Read an article like this one fills my heart with culture. Thank you! She is a dancer. She is a Cuban Dancer.
Que Viva Lorena!

I must say that this is the best review on any ballet dancer/production I have ever read! It reads like a novel, and I want to know what happens in the next chapter! The detail and observation is so rich and so visual that I feel I'm seeing the performance. Thank you for giving a great artist her dues and them some!
