Scene4 is developing a new service... a library of tapes (and DVDs if  available) of performances by theatre companies in the U.S. and worldwide. Visitors to the library will be able to search for a performance tape by company name, production, play title, playwright, and many other topics. The tapes and discs will be available for a nominal price, most of which will go back to the company. It's a service that will allow artists and audience to find a range of productions on a single topic, e.g., a play-title, and view performances they otherwise would never see. It also allows companies to expose their work via archive tapes for which they have little or no distribution.   If you or your company would like to participate, send your email address to theatrelibrary@scene4.com and we'll add you to the list to receive all the details when they're available.
